Giveaway that guarantees you’ll get jewellery for Valentine’s Day!

On our drive to Toronto a few weeks ago, Donna told me about the time her hubby came home on Christmas Eve all proud of himself for getting all his shopping done at Canadian Tire in an hour. Or was it half an hour… well, anyway, Donna’s reply to that was “I didn’t know Canadian Tire has a jewellery counter now.” Oh, snap!!

If your primary gift-giver does all his shopping at Canadian Tire too, you need to enter our Valentine’s Day giveaway. Then you know you’ll be getting jewellery for Valentine’s Day :-)Melanie Roy is a jewellery designer from Dieppe, New Brunswick. I discovered her work when my friend, artist Matt LeBlanc, gave me some of Melanie’s jewellery for Christmas. That’s right, my hubby doesn’t give me jewellery, but my secret boyfriend does ;-) When Matt asked what colours I like and I told him purple, cobalt blue, and bright green, I didn’t expect him to send me three sets of jewellery, one in each colour!!

The pictures don’t do Melanie’s jewellery justice. The components are silver-plated metal and the earring hooks are sterling silver, to keep your ear lobes happy :-) It’s absolutely beautiful, and wearing these pieces makes me feel so good :-) And we want you to feel good too, so we’re giving away a necklace & earring set to one lucky DesignTies reader!!
