Gray adds subtle sophistication to any space. Use it as a neutral to let a bright color shine or do a whole room in gray for a soothing retreat. Capture a contemporary look by using a gray color scheme or add it to your favorite color scheme.
In many design circles, gray is the new white—and has been for a while. It’s a more elegant neutral that gives depth to subtle colors and makes bold tones pop (rather than shout). But getting gray right can be tricky: the “temperature” of a particular shade—cool or warm—can evoke very different feelings and have an enormous impact on the mood of a room. There are many, many shades of gray, so, choose wisely.
There is also a trend in gray woods. Country rustic cottage oak is a wire brushed finish with a slight metallic hint. It can be used on wood walls, floors or furniture.
Living room designs in gray can be quite fun and elegant with the right pop of color. The color gray is neutral and with a bright accent color can be a good choice of color for any home.
All of these pictures show just how beautiful gray looks when used with the right colors and is perfect for a modern classy look. It is a beautiful neutral shade which looks great with darker shades or even lighter shades of gray for a monochromatic feel, or as a base like ivory or white. Gray can create a chic elegant space.
