It’s Kelly’s

Birthday!!

No… not Kelly Ripa’s birthday (at least I don’t think it is)… but because Kelly is a Kelly (confused?!), and because she’s wearing Kelly’s absolute, hands down favourite colour in the whole wide world – and doing it pretty well, too – I had to include her in this post.

I mention Kelly’s love of purple because for those of us who know Kelly – in real life or in cyber-life – it truly IS the elephant in the room… it’s the most obvious bit of Kelly-reality out there!! She shouts it from the roof tops – she doesn’t keep it a secret!! She’ll write about it every opportunity she gets… and she uses purple as often as possible in her decor.

Example: She’s currently decorating her dining room and will be using a lavender faux ostrich skin – a textile she had to search high and low for (i.e., dedication!!!) – to cover her chairs. I KNOW it’s going to look FAB!!! Read all about it here.

Another perfect example: Kelly designed an absolutely beautiful guest bedroom that would be difficult for any guest to leave!

Maybe one day she’ll invite me to travel all the way across our extremely large country to stay in her glamorous, warm and inviting guest bedroom!! If you’re very, very nice she may invite you for a visit too! But not all of us at the same time… it’s only a double bed!

So in celebration of Kelly – and in recognition of her love of purple – I’ve pulled together a few photos of purple rooms. Chances are she’s seen them before, but you never know… maybe she’ll find inspiration for a client room from the pics I’m sharing!!
